Journal of Contemporary Islamic Law and Studies (JCILS) is an international, peer-reviewed journal dedicated to advancing high-impact scholarship on the transformation of Islamic law in the contemporary world. The journal is published three times a year, in April, August, and December. JCILS is scheduled to publish its inaugural issue in Volume 1, Issue 1 (December 2025), marking the beginning of its contribution to global academic discourse in Islamic legal studies.
